Challenge
A European renewable energy developer needed to move 12 complete wind turbine assemblies — nacelles, towers, and blade sets — from manufacturing facilities across Germany to a greenfield wind farm site in the Brazilian northeast, with a strict commissioning window.
Solution
CEVA coordinated multi-origin consolidation from 4 German facilities, arranged heavy-lift vessel chartering from the Port of Bremerhaven, managed Brazilian port reception at Pecém, and executed overland convoy transport through 380 km of partially unpaved roads to the wind farm site.
Result
All 12 turbine sets delivered within a 22-day on-site window. Zero port demurrage. First turbine online 3 days ahead of the commissioning schedule, saving the client an estimated EUR 1.4M in penalty exposure.
